ATI SunPower LED mod

i am running an 8 bulb 36” with 5 blue plus 2 coral plus and 1 purple plus. I am looking to get that LED pop. I understand the reef brite xho strips are the way to go, but is there anything that isn’t 300+ dollars that will also work? What do you other T5 users use?

Can always get the tech lights instead of the xhos if you want the look but not the par

Can you give m emote info about tech lights? Do they mount to ati? Not too worried about par.

Reefbrite Tech LED's, half the amount of LED's as the XHO, and mount the same way. I use one XHO mounted to the front.

The new SBReeflights have the new apex approved supplemental actinics bars, wayyy better par at $124 each, you don't need a dimmer or any specific adapter because they come with the cable to go direct to your apex and do dawn and dusk or any other applications, thats my .02[emoji106][emoji225][emoji886]

You can always get an E5 LED blue pop bulb that goes in place of one T5 bulb, that is what i run on my ATI fixture. Just replace one blue+ with it and your gold, that is how i did mine 3 ATI blue+ 1 E5 blue pop and 2 ATI coral+ for the 6 bulb fixture.

Absolutely that's a perfect option too, the E5 bulbs from Biotek in Aquariumspecialty.com are awesome and goes for $60 each!!!!

I was looking st the sbreeflight strips. Do they mount to the ati fixture and are they bright enough to be noticed and make the colors pop with an 8 bulb T5? I will also look into the E5 bulb.

Can you post up a pic of your tank running this bulb? I'm also looking for an LED supplement for my sunpower fixture... My plan was for XHO's at this point.

The tech light is the exact same dimensions as the xho but has half the clusters and 1 1/2 less par
