I have a 36" 8 bulb ATI and have access to up to 3 250w Hamilton fixtures off a 72" Hamilton Cebu fixture.

The tank is a 48" deep blue 80 rimless, just wondering if adding one (on the back side angled towards the tank) or two (one on each side angled slightly towards the center) would be too much?

One hamilton with the 8 bulbs running, and fans, would be about 575w, two hamiltons would be up at 825w....keep in mind it'd only run for 2-4 hours a day.

Would all this be too much to run through an apex EB8 or DJ strip? Think it will trip my breaker?

Thank you

No it shouldn't trip either the eb8 or your breaker. A 250w halide is about 2.5 amps, the eb8 I believe can handle 15 amps. As for your breaker I am assuming it's a 20 amp. So either way you should be ok.

Oh okay, and wattage shouldn't be a concern with the other aquarium equipment making their draw too? My understanding is a 20A breaker can handle 2400 watts so I shouldn't be coming near that.

You should be fine :)
