I have an opportunity to purchase an ATI T5 6 bulb setup and was wondering if it would work for my tank that is 60"x24"x24". Will this be enough lighting for my tank? I was also thinking about adding 2 Reefbright led strips on each side or should i just hold out for an 8 bulb ATI fixture? Thanks in advance, Andrew.

6 bulb would work with led strip on each side. 8 bulb would fill it better.

Thats what i was thinking, well i guess i will save my pennies for the 8 bulb. Thanks for the reply.

The 6 bulb would be fine assuming you don't have corals from the very front of the tank to the very back of the tank that demand high light. Just position the fixture do that it covers your areas of high light need and you will be fine.

What are you planning to keep in the tank and what does your aquascape look like?

Im switching from an LPS system to an SPS dominant system, i havent decided on the aquascape as yet, im waiting for my tank to arrive and some more equipment to come in to get it all setup. Thanks for the info guys.
