Hello there, needed some inputs on the reflector degree that is ideal for T5 tubes. Am taking 4 coral plus and 2 blue blus from ATI. This will supplement the 12 LED panels that I got custom made of 3 watt leds of 3 Watts each and a total of 108 bulbs of various nm covering warm and cool whites, ultra cool whites, 3 types of blue, purple and UV A.
The display aquarium is sized at 60X30X30 inches.

Any inputs will help. Many thanks in advance.

Will you be bending your own reflectors? BRS sells specular LET Miro T5 reflectors.

These are diagrams from Gus6464 in a discussion comparing T5 fixtures on RC.

The best reflectors are true parabolic reflectors. These reflectors can be found on fixtures like the ATI Powermodule or the PacSun Diuna. Because of their true parabolic shape, they maximize output.

The ATI Sunpower and Giesemann Matrixx II uses specular reflectors. These are reflectors bent into an angled “semi-V” shape. While it provides more spread, it does so by sacrificing output.

I'm trying to get something custom made. Unfortunately I am based here in India where getting the reflectors would mean importing them and the cost goes up exponentially. But this info surely helps. Tks a ton.
