HI, been going round and round trying to figure this out. Please chime in on what I need to do, thank you.

Yes, I have read the beginner article on Apex ATK.
The optical sensors are working fine and the PMUP is working fine.

ATK has been running a couple days now. It is constantly turning on and off... From my reading, it could be the float on the ATK in the turbulent sump...so I have tried various tweaks to no avail.

At the moment, the high water optical sensor is underwater/closed, but the ATK is still turning on and off. (When the high water optical sensor is open, the ATK turns on and off, too.) I see that the FMM on the EB8 is off when this happens as well. My concern is not only with the annoying noise of topoff bursts, but concern that the RODI pressure is at 0 for these bursts, thus the unit is not cleaning the water properly. The RODI system delivers water to a ATO 30 gal reservoir via float valve, the PMUP is located there and delivers water to the sump ATK.

Here is what I have in Fusion:

ATK PMUP Configuration -
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If ATK_Lo OPEN Then ON
If ATK_Hi CLOSED Then OFF
If FW_lo OPEN Then OFF
When On > 003:00 Then OFF
Defer 003:10 Then ON
Defer 000:04 Then OFF
Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

FMM Configuration-
Fallback ON
Set ON
If ATK_Lo OPEN Then ON
If ATK_Hi CLOSED Then OFF
Defer 001:00 Then ON

Thank you.

The main problem is that you should only have programming on the PMUP output. I'm assuming your "FMM Configuration" is an EnergyBar output where you have the FMM's 24v power adapter plugged in. This output needs to remain ON 24/7. Best practice is to just plug the power adapter into a regular wall outlet or power strip, but if the EnergyBar is your only option, then set it to Always ON:

The other big problem I see is the long Defer timer on the PMUP. The normal delays are 10 seconds for ON and 4 seconds for OFF:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If ATK_LO OPEN Then ON
If ATK_HI CLOSED Then OFF
When On > 005:00 Then OFF
Defer 000:10 Then ON
Defer 000:04 Then OFF

Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

The optical sensors cannot be in a "turbulent sump". It should be placed in your return chamber where the water level is relatively smooth, and this 10 second delay is sufficient to determine the water level is accurate and not caused by waves.

All you mentioned above was how I first had it set. Still had the constant off/on bursts of topoff water, that's why I was messing around with the times.
(I also had the FMM always on.)

The ATK is in the return section of the sump, but there is still much flow.

I have put everything back to how it was originally, but that still doesn't address the concern of low RODI pressure with these short bursts. Is this how everyone's ATK works? Adds a burst every 30 seconds or so?

This setting says that the ATO pump cannot be on for longer than 3 minutes and it cannot run more than once every 60 minutes. If you're really getting bursts in the ATO pump, something else is wrong. I set up my ATK unit last week and had the exact same problem with Alarming ON and OFF constantly, but that was the sensor, not actually water being pumped. Obviously, I'd like to also figure out why the alarming is not working properly but I turned off alarming so my Apex app would quit notifying and the unit itself is working 100% accurately, turning on about once every 3ish hours.

Noticed defer time as well. Agreed that needs to be :10 On and :4 Off assuming water level is smooth.

Appreciate the thread, I'll stick around to see if someone has an Alarm fix.

Thanks for chiming in.
Yeah, that’s another point I forgot to include, the ato cannot run more then 1x every sixty minutes, but it does...or at least I hear the rodi push short burst water through system. (Can’t ever hear the pmup.)
I also have ATK alarms turned off.

this doesn’t look like example....
