As Ferrell mentioned keeping sensors clean should be part of your maintenance routine. Mine lasted 6 months and Neptune Systems folks tried to convince me I was doing something wrong. University of Minnesota Labs tested them and concluded they were cheap chinese sensors. I ended up spending $200 on new sensors from a medical supply house in Ohio and they work great, no issues but YES still have to be cleaned on a regular basis.
Apex ATKs are a fantastic concept but someone in management opted to go cheap w/chinese sensors. I'm trying to NOT bash Neptune Systems but want fellow reefers to know of the pitfalls of Apex ATKs
