ATO & AWC

Hi. I start the adventure with marine aquariums. I have already ordered GHL Profilux P4 and MITRAS 7206.
I want to prepare for configuration. I read a lot, but I think about one thing. I am interested in the ATO & WATER CHANGE option. If the AWC function starts, will the ATO function be turned off automatically until AWC is over?
Please help.

I have the Neptune Apex and I installed an ATO and later AWC. I was concerned about this very thing. At first, I disabled my ATO while the AWC was active/running. However, I do not think it’s necessary to do that. I now allow both to run and I keep an eye on salinity. Have not had a problem and I’m now about 2 months into this configuration. Good luck!

The idea is that an AWC removes the old water at the same time it is adding new .... thus there is no impact to water level in the sump.
