Ato containers

What's best longer term? Safest for fish? Easiest to use? Best quality of material?
Cheapest?

An empty salt bucket is cheapest. I have been using that for 4 years. Drilled a hole for a cutoff float which is attached to the RO unit. I cut small slit for pump cords to come out of bucket. Also, 5 gal bucket of RO is backup RO for adding to my salt mix container when I add too much salt and need to dilute it some.

Yeah, a 5 gallon bucket you can buy at any hardware store seems to be the go to when it comes down to an ATO reservoir IMO. An empty 10 gallon aquarium makes a nice ATO reservoir too though. GL.
