I have an Apex ATO setup and I am using the included siphon break. Yesterday I filled up the 10 gallon ATO. This morning I woke up with the sump overfilled and a slow drip from the ATO. Is the siphon break broken? Should the siphon break be out of the water in the ATO? My ATO and sump sit on the same level in the stand.

if your ATO reservoir water level is higher than the end of the hose to sump, water will continue to flow/or drip even when pump stops.

Do you have a photo of the set up as a reference?

The end of the orange tube in the sump must be higher than the water level of the ATO reservoir.

Maybe the Neptune Siphon break that is included needs to be out of the water?
Did you figure this out? I am installing an ATK. I believe the siphon break has to be up out of the water to suck air in an break the siphon.

As said above the siphon break needs to be above the waterline in the ATO container. Also note that when you use a siphon break it will spray water everywhere when the PMUP runs, so you need a setup where that doesn’t cause a problem. In my case I have a small funnel sitting over the siphon break to ensure all water drips down rather than spray up all over my RODI reservoir lid as in my case that would cause a little leakage.

The siphon break needs to be above the water so when the pump switches off it sucks in air and that breaks the siphon.

And as said above, it squirts water through it when the pump runs, I just face the hole back into the RO container which has a lid
