I have a neptune.. So do i go with the neptune a plug N play, or the standard tunze?
Opinions, and why..
My friend just had to get rid of his tank because it flooded a second time .. (Idk What brand)
Thanks so much!

I have two Neptune ATKs and I can only speak of them. They're ok. The concept/idea is great but with their mass production the weak point in their systems are the optic sensors. They're cheap chinese sensors. The Pmup pumps that come with them are also suspect to failure depending how you set your ATO up. With the Apex you can set your time schedule to as low as 30 minutes for sensors to activate. So the pump comes on often. I found spacing sensor time "min time" in programming 1 to 2 hours will save wear & tear on Pmup pump.

Thanks for that advice. Im assuming you're running on neptune and not stand alone.
Would you go back and use tunze if you had the chance

I use the Tunze 3155. Have for years
I tried the neptune plug and play. It is not to my liking. Since it fell off the back of my sump its history

Spectrapure ATO is the best IMO right now. Its a really nice complete package with peristaltic pump, dual pressure sensors.

I went with the ice cap, it's the best value on the market in my opinion. Dual optical eye sensors, no float valve bs... Can't beat that.

I went with tunze and innovative marine reservoir
