ATO dumped too much water

Ok as the title states my ato dumped to much water.

I usually run my tank at 1.027 it’s now at 1.024

should I just turn the ATO off until it gets back? Should I do a small water change to bring it back up?

It will be fine, I would just turn it off until it gets to correct level.

That’s what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. I’m in Colorado so it should take long. But my Goni is not happy about it at all.
