ATO for 40g breeder

Going to start a 40gallon breeder reef. My first saltwater tank so still learning a bit. Any advise on an ATO? Something cheaper than $150. Currently looking at the XP Aqua Duetto ATO

I have a IceCap ATO and a Duetto....
The IceCap crapped out after 2 days of use and after looking at their support section it seems to be a fairly regular issue.
The Duetto has been great with no issues thus far.
