I am looking at getting an ato for my 75g I have an eshopps float valve but I don't have the room to use it. I need one that will work reliably and does not take up a lot of space.

I love AutoAqua Smart ATO
It is an amazingly simple & excellent working product. Setup is supper easy

On sale for $229. I don't consider that pricey when you look at the reliability, the adjustability, the fact it comes with a 3 roller peristaltic pump same as the LiterMeter and the multiple levels of safety built in. Mine has been going strong for 7 years now with one silicone hose replacement at the 6 year mark.

They have other basic models starting at around $60 that still use a digital sensor versus a float valve or float switches.

I had a jbj for 8 months and it took a dump on me. I now have the new smart ATO and so far I really like it. The alarm has helped my roomates watch the tank when I'm out of town. Comes with the pump, sump mount for the tube, tube lol. So far real consistent for my tank. Only a few months in though.

I ordered a spectrapure a few days ago and I am very exited about it I really hope it is worth the money. I also plan on dosing kalk with it.
