ATO is Driving Me Insane!

If this is a common problem then hopefully I'll regain my sanity. I have a JBJ AIO running two Cobalt MJ1200s and a Smart ATO with the sensor and float combo. I run the pumps on a 90 second cycle between them. Lately the ATO has been beeping every time the pumps switch over. It wasn't doing this before. I clean the sensor and inspect the float weekly, daily since this nonsense started. Does anybody else have this type of ATO? Is there a way to set it up to wait for the few seconds it takes to equalize the water level before it pumps water back into it? My house sounds like a stinking ER with the ATO constantly beeping.

The original Smart ATO had this issue and was taken off the market for this reason. Now Smart only sells the Micro which still has the same issue but not as frequently. JBJ ATO worked awesome for me for many years. If you haave a controller you already hab5e a high quality ATO all you need is a switch box/breakout box, a float switch or two, small pump and tubing. Saves money as well.

I have one ATO. The JBJ uses 2 pumps located in different chambers. I have the pumps running alternating intervals. The problem I'm having is that when the pumps switch it causes either a rise or drop in the chamber where the ATO is located. When it drops the ATO does what it's supposed to do and levels it out. So seconds later when the water starts to equalize between the two chambers, BAM now the ATO now has a high water signal since the float is now triggered. I just don't understand how it's become an issue now since it was working fine for months before.

Yeah, i misread that totally.

Try taking the pumps off the cycle. They wont keep their same pressure over time.
