I have recently changed tanks and now have a sump and ATO.

Should I raise the dKH in the RODI in the ATO to match the display tank so it isn’t pulling it down when it tops up?
Or does the evaporation leave the dKH like it does with the salinity?

DKH remains unchanged due to evap.

Although I would assume if evap is left long enough and not replaced, as the water volume lowers the DKH might rise?

Your ATO keeps your alk from shooting up, along with everything including salinity. Pure RODI in the ATO is the way to go.

Thanks, I just wanted to ensure my dosing wasn’t going to be influenced by more evaporation as it gets warmer.
