ATO placement

Hello, I have a Nuvo 10 gallon AIO, I bought a small ATO device from Amazon that uses simple bottle of water that attaches to it. I use a 1 L bottle. My question is do I hang it in the back chambers where the return pump is or do I put it in the main display? TIA

I used one on a Fluval 13.5. I used it in the display, because the return level can fluctuate so much.

That’s exactly why I wanted to ask here, because I’ve been noticing a difference in the water levels! Glad I’m not the only one. Do you have a lid with a cut out for this?
