Please the typo in the title. It was supposed to say "solving"and I'm not sure how to change it.
Hello to all reefers! I'm coming for advice on what to do with my ATO running on a sump-less ten gallon nano reef located in my bedroom. The entire tank build was built and constructed at being as quiet as possible. About a year ago I custom built a ATO system out of spare parts laying around the house. This has been supplying my tank with RODI for the last year perfectly. Recently I updated my circulation from two Hydor's to a Ecotech Vortech( great buy) and k ran into a slight problem that happens to be extremely irritating. The ATO float switches(shown in picture below) keep tripping when the Vortech ramps up to about 50%. The module makes a "click" whenever this happens and the click is loud enough to be heard clearly and is very distracting. The ATO doesn't actually pump water into the display when this happens. I'm looking for suggestion's to ensure that the system doesn't keep tripping. This would all be fixed if I had a sump but this tank was purposefully setup without a sump even though all my others do have sunk systems running. It also doesn't not have a back chamber. Suggestions would be great! Also, turning down the pump is not an option because I have SPS that require high flow.
