I purchased a Hydor ATO, a space saver 1 gallon jug and a TOMS Aqua lifter. I finally had the time to install it all tonight just to find out the pump can not lift the water. [emoji35]

From the floor to the tank it is 53 inches. I know the aqua Lifter can lift up to 30, however from my understanding prior to purchasing the pump it was 30 inches above the pump which I am within. However I got a one droplet every other second and then after 5 min the Hydor threw an alarm and I noticed the pump was no longer on.

Any ideas on a fix for this?

Put the pump up as high as you can within the stand....shortening the distance it has to push the water up. See how that works.

The pump can only move a total of 30 inch from surface of your ato water. This is the limitation of this diaphragm pump since it has to suck the water up out of the ATO reservoir and the push it out the other end. A metering pump like the brs 50 ml will work for you because it is a peristaltic pump is able to constantly displace fluid and move water much farther.
