So I put this up in the other forum and responses have been slow.

I am looking for an external, quiet, ATO pump that can handle about 10 feet of head. I finally have a mix station complete in the basement, but it’s caused some
issues with the pump.

I have a controller so I don’t need anything fancy. Just something that isn’t super noisy and can move some water...

Thoughts welcome...

The Neptune PMUP can easily handle that head height, and if your controller is an Apex is an obvious option. I know some find them unreliable but I have been using one for 12 months now to refill my gravity fed ATO once daily from my remote RODI reservoir with no issues. I only lift about 3 feet but know it is rated for much more.

Isn’t that a submersible?

I’m not opposed, but I have a Pro4 controller and I already hVe water lines run from basement to tank. I don’t really want to run power from the pab bar down to the basement....

I just got a peristaltic pump off amazon. rated for 400ml/min at 12v DC.
not the quietest thing in the world, but eventually I'll do some noise isolation for it.

Eh. That seems like a lot of $$ for a not so quiet pump.

It seems a spectrapure is my next best option. Just not a lot out there I can find that seems to check all the boxes I want..

Have you looked at Avast Marines diaphragm pump, is rated for 30 psi

Yes. I have it. I replaced it with the perstalic as it’s a noisy monster, but I have swapped them back for now.

It’s working better now that I have 1/4 tube running on it instead of the 1/8” they reccomend. Moves water very well but it is soo loud...

It does, solve my immediate need though, so I am going to take my time in finding a replacment.

Going to try and get some real world thoughts on the spectrapure.

Other thoughts welcome.

Everyone I have heard fro with the spectrapure litermeter was very happy with it. I cant recall ever hearing complaints about that company
