I'm looking for a pump for my ato setup. It will pump into my sump so a small one should do.
Any ideas.I have a ca800 but it's noisy when it start-ups. Really rattles when the pump starts. No Buenos.the boss doesn't like it......meaning the wife. I'm leaning towards a Rio 90.Any help will take into consideration.thanks

I bought a fountain pump from Harbor Freight for maybe $6.00. I'm not pumping water very far though. I don't think you'd need anything fancy for this...

I use an aqualifter pump on my ATO. It's not loud until your reservoir is empty and it's running dry, reminds me to fill it up..

+1 for the Aqualifter. I have used them on multiple tanks for years. I like that it adds small amounts of water over time. The only noise it makes is when your reservoir runs dry. And - they are cheap!

I like the aqualifter used it before. I kinda like them.
My tank is 100. Any smAll pump will do for the ato.

I use the pump for the Tunze 3155 ATO. It is not quiet either. I also use the BRS 50ml and it is not quiet. These are low gph types. And by quiet I meant dead silence.....The rio is very quiet, but the gph is a bit hi for ATO....

I use the litermeter standalone peristaltic (LM3-MPM) pump for mine and it is reasonably quiet. It pulls water through about 100' of RO tubing through my attic from an RO container outside then through a kalk reactor and has been doing great. I hear the water coming out of the reactor more than the pump.

I use a aqualifter as a ato pump on my 50 gallon tank, and a maxi-jet 1200 as the return pump on my 233.
