Ato recommendations

Does anyone have any good auto top off systems that are reliable and affordable thinking of finally getting one the Manual tank fill up is getting real old ! Thanks

look at autotop0ff.com- I used there 2 switch system for my tank. Worked great-- hooked up to aqualifter pump. It was very reliable for me.
Just my 2 cents.

I really like my ATO from Avast Marine. I have a tunze as well on my QT and it is nice but the pump is pretty weak. With the Avast I went with their diaphragm pump and I am pulling water from my basement through about 25 feet of tubing to my sump which is on the first floor about 7-8 feet above my RODI barrel. It's great.

No love for gravity fed! If you have space in your stand I recommend a gravity fed system with a float valve for a shutoff. It doesn't get much cheaper or more simple!

My only issue with gravity fed is that the float valve will eventually stick...

A very real possibility. I run kalkwasser as well, so I have to clean my valve with vinegar every month or so. I'm guessing it's more upkeep than a sensor requires, but it was also free (float valve came with the sump and I had a five gallon jug laying around)

I have used JBJ ATo (cheap and reliable as long as you monitor float switches and clean regularly) and now Tunze Osmolator ( love this one and would not go back, even though it was more expensive)

I would have no issue using JBJ ATO long term though.

I'll second the avast marine ATO, I use an aqualifter pump with mine cause it's not pumping far.
It's a pressure sensor tube so no moving parts no maintenance
I've had no problem with mine
