ATO reserve tank

I was thinking I might need to get a bigger reserve bucket for my topoff water. The bucket I have now hold about 3 1/2 gals. Was thinking about getting a 5 gal. How much water do you guys usually use a day to topoff with and how big of a reserve tank do you use?

I am going through about 3/4 of a gallon. My tank and tand are very small (22") so I will be (just got it) using a 3G container. If you are looking for a 5g container and don't have much space, try elite-aquatics. They have one that has a small foot print
