ATO Reservoir has a slime

I have an Innovative Marine Glass ATO Reservoir and notice that there is a slime in the tank and on the ATO water tubes. I use RODI water and the reservoir is kept in a dark cabinet. Is this anything I should be concerned about? Any treatment? Is it worth having a filter in the ATO reservoir?

are you cleaning the ato container every once in a while? stuff can grow in the freshwater pretty quickly

Bacterial slime. Quick rinse with fresh water or diluted bleach if you want to go all out. I haven't stuck my hand in my rodi tank in months but fully expect it there too.

Thanks for the replies. No, I have not been cleaning the ATO tank. Guess will need to start doing this. Is it worth having a filter for the ATO tank or providing water circulation to tank?

I had this exact same issue in the ATO reservoir of my Reefer 425XL. I just let it run low once in a while and gave it a rinse out.
