I have been using Tunze tops offs for many years and have been getting fails lately on the nano one. I want to try something different on this tank.
Anyone really love a ATO they have other than Tunze and Apex? Thanks

I went a step above the Tunze nano. Have had it for about 2 months or 3. Haven’t had a issue

Just thought maybe their is some other winners out their a bit cheaper. I have 3 Tunze items failing right now....grrrrr

What are the items? Have you contacted Roger at Tunze to troubleshoot what's going on?

I have the IM Hydrofill system as well and love it.

If you look at BRS reviews, the Tunze nano ATO has a history of failure. The Tunze 3155, however, is rock solid and the gold standard ATO in the industry imo.

If you are having issues with your Tunze products, I'd contact @rvitko here on the forum for repair.

I have a couple of AutoAqua SMART ATOs and a DIY ATO that have been working well for me, but it is hard to beat the (non nano) Tunze.

Heard good stuff about aqua duetto, anybody else using them? Are they anygood for a nano tank?

I use a duetto on my 30 Gallon lagoon. As long as you clean the sensor with vinegar every few weeks it works great. I also dose Kalkwasser in my ATO and the pump hasn't given me any trouble.

Your cleaning with vinegar to remove salt creep?

Why does know one use jbj a.t.o with a aqualifter and float switches???

I have been using one for 7+ years without fail.
My aqualifter just died on me (manufactured 2000) and that is the first time I have had to touch it.

Just my suggestion and 2 cents

I trust the reviewers here. But after watching a YouTube video of this pump and how cheap it is, makes me wonder if we're being robbed here of 200 bucks. They even suggest that you can replace the pump itself if you think it's weak. Most reefer supplies seem to be severely overpriced. Take a look at the small rectangle top off boxes , some costing over a hundred bucks. These boxes probably cost 4 bucks to mak in china.
