ATO Tank - Water Quality

My ATO reservoir is basically stuck in the cabinet and I have to fill it by siphoning RO water from a bucket. I have been using the same siphon that I use for the display tank, but is this a bad idea because of the various organics that may get into the ATO reservoir? It is in the dark, so no light.

Well, it's just RO - and you have RO sitting in the ATO reservoir as well, so... I have a Sicce Zero utility pump permanently hooked up to a hose that I top up my ATO with and it's been sitting in the bucket for probably 6-8 months now. I'm refilling my ATO every 2-3 days, so it's not like anything sits in the hose or bucket for any kind of extended period.
