I had a Xp Aqua Duetto ATO running on my tank when it was smaller, when I upgraded to the 90g last year I moved it over and haven't had any problems until now. Earlier this week I heard it beeping, thought it was a bit early for the reservoir to be empty but took a look anyway. Water level was below the sensor, reservoir was still half full. After much trial and error, I ended up just emailing the company and they said it sounded like a pump failure, I paid $20 and they shipped out a new pump. New pump arrived today, still nothing. Controller beeps orange like there's no water in the reservoir but there doesn't seem to be enough power going to the pump (or any?) I emailed them again today but haven't heard back yet. If I drop the sensor back below the water level the controller normalizes. If I unplug the pump it loops blue and beeps, so it can tell if something is plugged in or not. I'm at a loss of what to do.

Has anyone experienced this? Any recommendations? If I end up having to replace should I use the same thing (it's lasted me about 1.5 years) or should I look into something else?

Tunze 3155’s last forever. I would get that if you are having issues with other brands and you want something reliable.

It looks like they're going to replace this for me, so hooray. I'll keep the tunze in mind if I have this guy die on me again. Thanks!

My duetto just dumped the entire reservoir into my tank. It is less than a year old!

Not impressed with the Aqua Dueutto ATO… 14 months after purchasing both the pump and eye/sensor went. XP Aqua only warranties for one year. $20 for replacement pump and $50 for new eye/sensor = $195.00 for a little over one year. Wishing I hadn’t cheated out and just bought the Tunze Osmolator.
