ATO water

How many days do you think ATO water stays fresh? I have a 7 gallon reservoir for my 40b which I need to refill maybe every 1.5 weeks (not sure exactly how long). I just want to make sure that the water is still fresh for that long. Thanks.

It'll be fine for that short length of time. Well, as long as nothing gets in there to contaminate it haha

Do you have a lid on the reservoir? If so I don't think it would be a problem at all.

RO/DI filtered water in a clean and sealed container will last a very long time. In theory it can last indefinitely but I haven't tested that theory myself. Months should be fine much less days.

It does have a sealed lid. Thanks for the replies. I figure I will just need to wash out the container once a month to keep it clean.

Mine hasn't been cleaned in 4 years and looks pristine.
