Wait. Now that you said that. Isnt there pumps for additives that do that? Why not use one for fresh water?I don't really know if there's anything like that on a timer, I've seen float valves that feed with gravity and top offs set off with a pump. Someone else will know more about different ATOs but you have given me an idea I'm going to fiddle around with and try out. My 20 gallon AIO needs to be topped off daily and it's a pain in the butt especially when my water is across the house from it. I think today I'm going to try to look into maybe rigging something to gradually feed the water, just a few drops at a time like drip acclimation.
I have seen something like that yeah, it looks like a dial that spins to push thing through, I don't see why you couldn't use something like that. I haven't used one before so I don't know the limitations but it sounds like it should work.Wait. Now that you said that. Isnt there pumps for additives that do that? Why not use one for fresh water?
I haven't used it. I only just set up my JBJ ATO yesterday on my main tank, and I still can't figure out why the water level dropped so much and I needed to reset the pump. What about this one? Has anyone used it? Remember no sump on this system, so the eye has to be in the tank and then of course the pump needs to add a very small amount at a time since its going directly in to the tank

Once I get home I will take a sort of top down shotI haven't used it. I only just set up my JBJ ATO yesterday on my main tank, and I still can't figure out why the water level dropped so much and I needed to reset the pump.
Can you post a picture so people know what sort of size thing you're looking for so they know in what area it needs to fit?
