Atomic Reef Reactor!

Yeah I know man! These things are hand made in TN. Quality work made by a US Veteran and his partner. You can't get any more American made than that! I believe their website goes up official sometime this week. I just got lucky and happen to know these guys.

here is a link to their FB page:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Atomic-Reef-Systems/286484618117342?sk=info

here is their email:[email protected]

Just to make distinction, Chris meant a Vet and his BUSINESS partner. LOL..it read as a possible double entendre, and certainly did not want Rick to think you were outing him! LOL...nothing wrong with anyones choice...Im just clarifying cause I read that and did a double take Knowing Rick was just married lol.

I agree. Have a reactor running carbon, a bio pellet reactor, and a calcium reactor all running with a blue LED mounted under the stand.
you may have just changes stand design! Down with the enclosed bottom stand and up with the open display of reactors for all to marvel in their glow.

Sounds Awesome right?! Gone are the days of just getting color pop from your corals, now you must have it on your equipment too.

yeh they should add a few different colors maybe even the front panel of the sump. the i could have glass doors on my stand and a black light over it all. the mad scientist lab look.

i have entirely too much time too think!!!!!!!

Update: I added some GFO and Rox Carbon to my plutonium reactor.

I really am loving the design of the top clear plate being removable from the down tube to easily add the media.

This is before I put it in the sump. I added a ball valve to the standard 1/2" eheim tubing and am using a mini jet 606 pump

In sump. I also added a mesh bag on the return line as a precaution. I love rox carbon, but it is so freakin small, it will try to escape when it can.

Also, it is easy to see the media with the glow from the LED's or not. Some of these phone pics are a little misleading to that. So far I am loving this reactor. The design is great, the concept is even cooler, and the price is unbeatable for an actual US made reactor with all USA top quality acrylic.

Well since adding the reactor with some GFO and carbon, my water is super clear, and my phosphates are steadily dropping. The last test went from 0.08 to 0.05 in 5 days.

Here is a sneak peak of something they're working on for me. Should be done this weekend, more pics to come.

That sump is going to be amazing. Rick told me the specs on it. i'm sure you'll be really happy with it.

You'll have to send Rick or Travis an email, they are going to handle it on a case by case basis and I'm not suppose to discuss pricing but I will say that I thought the price was more than fair and they'll be doing all my acrylic work in the future.
