I have a standard 20g High aquarium and having trouble finding a reliable ATO with a reliable working water sensor. Tried Hydor and it never worked right. True a auto top off .com float switch, it worked great for a month then the controller died. Please please someone send me a recommendation with a link if possible for an ATO that won't let me down!

So I tried several ATOs out there across all my tanks... my recommendation would be the Smart ATO Micro.

Doesn't false alarm, tiny, and works. This one come with its own 12V DC pump.

If you want to use your own pump that runs with an AC plug, then go with the Hydrofill Ti. Only challenge is that the sensors sometimes get confused on which is the high be low set points

Most people use the Tunze Osmolator 3155, but they make a nano version that works with tanks under 50 gallons and is waaay cheaper. The original version is around $200. The nano is $89. Here's the LINK for the Osmolator Nano 3152.

While I don't have direct experience with the nano, the main version is considered the standard. Check out some reviews on the site and see what you think. Keep in mind you have to keep the optical sensors clean of muck.

Thinking of trying it but just not sure how my water level will look...the magnetic mount will restrict me on how high I can mount it due to me having a rimmed tank.

I have the autotopoff.com products running on several tanks for years. There is a 2nd wiring point on their units, email them and they may be able to get it working for you. The Hydor uses a temperature sensor and they are very unreliable.
