I'm back to pouring water in manually since my diy ATO is on the fritz and my "backup" Autoaqua smart ATO doesn't want to work either. I have to get a new one soon because I forgot how aggravating it is to lift and pour from a 5 gallon bucket every day. What are you folks running?

Tunze 3155 - I like it but had trouble with it overfilling at first. It seemed to stop eventually and start working properly. Been running no issue for about a year. It could have to do with the low light area I have the optical sensor in, though. Also their support never emailed me back.

I've used a Tunze fir the past couple years... works well without any issues.

I have a gravity fed system: a 5 gallon bucket with lid which feeds an eshopps float in my sump.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Tunze seems to be pretty reliable. Is there a big difference between the tunze 3155 and the 3152? I have a 75 gallon and I'd rather bot spend the $200 if I dont have to.

Titanium Hydrofill controller been 100% for me ,its super customizable and reliable and you can use any pump you have laying around suitable for your needs

Depends what is out on your aqua auto
But you can get parts or a new pump for it at coralview web site

I have two of these. Made it for under $20.each.

It doesn't seem to want to initialize. When I plug it up the pump just runs wide open... so it may be beyond my repair skills lol. Which sucks because it does have a brand new pump.

I think no matter what ATO I get, I'll make one of those as my back up. That's a diy ato that I can make all on my own. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks to @rainmaker for hooking me up with an ato and a toadstool today! He's a good guy to deal with. Has a couple really nice tanks too!
