Just wondering if a Uv light would hinder a algae turf scrubber ? Im not going to run it all the time but when i would i dont want it to mess with my ATS.

Don't think so. UV sterilizes bacteria and free floating parasites. No reason it would stop your ATS from working properly and growing out.

Right, thats the free floating stage. Doesn't effect the growth on the ATS, its separate.

If your water is discolored I would recommend running some carbon along with your uv sterilizer. This is because the uv will kill the free floating algae that is making your water green but will not remove it.
