I have a heavily stocked SPS tank. Everything is up to par. Maybe I'm getting bored but thinking of buying or building an algae turf scrubber. Is there or has anyone had an issue with ATS and SPS? Appreciate it.

I've never used an ATS, but imo if everything's good and your able to keep your no3 and po4 in check then leave it be and enjoy the growth. Sps like nutrients just not in excess. If they end up in excess then you might need an ATS to help keep em down. The best thing you can do for a stable tank is leave it alone.

I agree with this

If everything is fine and growing great I wouldn't tinker too much. The slightest change could be detrimental to the system and you would probably regret it. Are you having any type of algae growth?

ATS will not harm a SPS tank have had them SPS tanks for years.
Hello
I started Ats but after 14 days don't grow alga on ?!
What can i do ????
It can take a couple of months for the algae to start growing. Generally you will start with a green slimy algae then after a month or two you will see a turf algae start to grow. What can you do??? be patient
