So I think I've gotten the tray/top version of the ATS I printed worked out pretty well (if you're interested, it can be found HERE). i'm running it quite successfully as well as a couple of members in one of the local clubs here. So I guess that means it's on to "making it better'............well at least for me! Haha!
I've started changing the design so I won't have to take the whole top "housing" off when I need to clean the screen. I'm making a door of sorts, maybe panel is a better word, that I can remove from the front of the ATS that would open up a slot in the front and a larger slot in the top so I can remove the feed pipe and screen for cleaning. Really, I'm just tired of how much clearance is needed to remove the whole top housing, so I decided to try this and see if it'll work out. If it does, it'll make cleaning a LOT easier (I think).
Anyway, just thought I'd post about it here, I'll update this with pics of the prototype once I get it printed.

The print turned out good (although I definitely need to do some maintenance on the printer and tighten/clean all the moving parts so I don't have so much post-production clean up to do), and once the lighting windows are installed, it'll be pretty sturdy. BUT, it'll likely never get used and It'll go in the scrap box.
