Good morning, can someone please Id this for me? I have 2 acans that have this on their base. One pic is with blues and the other with white lights. Thanks for any input

It is soft. Would u know if it safe in the reef tank?

Sponge are harmless filter feeders but can over grow on corals. I would just lightly brush it off with a toothbrush.

I tried to take it off with tweezers but had no luck. It actually Burst open but still remained on the coral. I probably will take the frag out and try to remove it. Thanks for the input and advice. Just another reason why I live this forum!! I always say “teamwork makes the dream work!”, thanks god we r all part of the same team.

Not sure what it is but since it burst you might want to keep an eye for more just in case it's not a sponge.
