I recently bought a devil’s hand leather and a Red Sea Xenia from a local hobbyist. Neither was attached to anything, so I glued them both to some dry rock. The leather is doing fine, but the Xenia has come loose twice. So now I have a rubber band loosely holding the Xenia in place until it attaches itself. Is this the right way to go, or is there a better method of mounting the Xenia?

Rubber band or tuck the Xenia in a small crevice is about all you can do. They will shed the glue by expelling slime form the glued area. Good thing is, they usually do not take to long to attach to something.
