How many people get sad with the loss of their fish and coral?

How many people get sad with the loss of their fish and coral?
I always get sad, but sometimes it can't be helped. On the other hand, I haven't mourned the loss of my pulsing xenias or my a**hat yellow belly damsel...

Yes I agree I have not mourned any loss of my Kenya tree or anthelia!. lol

Depends. Obviously you get sad if just for loss of your money. I've had losses (Naoko Fairy Wrasse) that got me for a whole week but some corals that disappeared without me hardly noticing. I like the two week naming rule for fish to try and not get attached to fish that are suffering from the immense amount of stress they suffer to get to our tanks. (not that I name fish but still a good strategy)

It really stresses me out and almost makes the hobby not worth it. I had a red emerald or pitho crab (don’t know which) go crazy in my tank and kill a helfrich fire fish and barnacle blenny and rip multiple appendages off my blood shrimp and Pom Pom crab. I got rid of those two, and replaced the fish but I still check every morning for everyone lol
