I know I keep bringing this thing back from the dead but I wanted to provide another update. I finally got around to adding a flush valve to my system (2 john guest shut-off valves) so that I can flush the high TDS water that is built up after the membrane when it has been sitting and not producing water since I do bi-weekly water changes. I found that the TDS after sitting for a week or two was coming out at 105ppm I flush it for 5-10 minutes until it is down to ~22ppm since I don't see it go much lower after hours of production I know this is in a low state so I then open the valve to let the water start going through the DI canisters. I'm thinking that this will help extend the life of my DI resin significantly since I wont be pushing unnecessary high TDS water through the 1st canister.
