ATTENTION all zoa experts...

I think it's the LED's that make the rastas look like that, try only putting it under MH and see if it still looks the same.

250w Radium's and ati blue plus's.But what makes them pop is the Current Powerbrites. I use the blue led's. Anyone who has seen my tank in person can't believe how everything justs pop's. Everyone should have at least one powerbrite on their system.lol They are the real deal.

Notice any heat issues with the LEDs? Reason I ask is I have 3 X 400W MH sitting in Lumenarc reflectors sitting above my tank. They are enclosed behind a wall and it gets almost 90* above the tank, if I don't run a fan to cool them. Won't the LEDs fail if they have excessive heat?

I like that one much better than a standard rasta, Hmmm makes me want to replace a couple stock jbj nanocube LED's

IMO it is your lights and tank conditions that make it look that great! In fact most of your zoas/palys look better than the ones I have in my tank.

The reason I ask for pics with only MH is because I've bought corals I've seen under LED's and when I bring it to the shop and place in my tank under MH those colors are not there. Example chalices with orange or yellow eyes under LEDs, They are green under my MH.

agreed - powerbrites (or bright blue leds in general) do amazing things to all of my corals. you can watch the pigments excite incredibly when you flip the switch. shouldn't need any time to adjust. it's an instant brilliance.

I vote Rastas too, and nice ones at that!

Pete, I have three colonies of rastas and each of the colonies are from different sources.
one colony came from the same source as yours and I think they are all the same.

Also - There is a certain spectrum in the blue light when captured by camera, show orange color as a little more on the rainbowy side. It depends on the color processing of the camera itself. Each camera has a different way of processing color.

Hope it helps.
