This morning I was browsing my Ecosmart to check what king of changes they have made to the programs and I found out that in mid January they made an adjustment to the preset K settings to make them more accurate. It is a signifficant change specially if you are using their 10,12,14,18 and 20k presets. If you are like me and haven't mess with the lights for a while, at least since January, you might want to login and check them out. I'm sure a lot of people already figured this one out, but I just wanted to give those like me a heads up.

I went in to re-program one of my fixtures when I upgraded from gen 1 to gen 3 when that first came out.
I didn't notice anything. What was changed?

The big change was on the spectrum, specially red, green, and white. For example the 20k setting it use to be 100RB 100B 38W 18G 38R, now it's 100RB 100B 17W 17G 17R, thats just an example. They stated on the change that now they are closer to the spectrum with the changes. I don't know if will make a difference at all but I'm giving it a shoot to see what happens. No need to mess with your lights if everything is working for you, I just wanted to put the information out there for those that didn't know.

It's good to know.
I guess, I think I saw something.
Thought maybe it was my imagination but the blues that come on first thing seem different.
IDK,

IDK,

I've change all the settings to the new ones, can tell you that the blue is definitely more predominant and the overall look of the tank is a lot better, more balance. Corals don't seem to care much, I guess ill know a few months from now if it affected their growth, which i don't think it will since the blues, specially the royal blue intensity didn't change. So far still happy with the lights!!
