ATTN: John Hoang @ Advanced Acrylics

As promised I am deleting this since I have come to resolution. He did contact me but thanks to the advice on the forums I have decided to file on a claim with Chase and they gave me back the money the next day.

That is alot of money to not have the products!!!! Seems to be alot of vendor problems lately.

Sorry to hear about your father, keep your chin up and be there for him.

im just looking for some respect honestly i would have given him more time but him screening my calls was the last draw

so im not the only one that has been a victim of john. now that im not the only one, i guess this is a good warning for everyone.

I just received an email from John:

"Hey thomas,

I'm not ignoring you. I'm away on vacation til aug 4th. I will refund you 1/2 on aug 14th first thing when I get back and the other half on august 12th.

Thanks and sorry for this bad transaction."

My question is should I still file the claim through my bank? or should I wait it out to resolve this peacefully? I dont need it at the moment anyways.

EDIT: I will delete it when things are resolved

thank you everyone, gonna go to the bank and ask if it will be aproblem if i wait a couple of weeks and if its not i am going to wait it out since I did do business with him before and do want to finish things on bad terms. we will see

From a distance...
Dude went on vacation with a pending transaction without notifying an already dissatisfied customer whose money was likely being used to partially fund said vacation.

IIWM, I'd file the claim since timing could be sensitive, you can always cancel if the person has enough cash after vacation to build your stuff..

Yeah I would file Thomas. He says he will be back on the 4th but can't pay you for another 10 days?!? What kind of an excuse will he have at that time?

File the claim. He is collecting interest on your money sitting in his account. Depending on what type of interest he gets, he may make all of that up before you get your money back. He'll make money for nothing.
