August Meeting

this meeting we are treating like a yard sale for reef equipment. no specific corals will be there, however, if you look at some of the sale threads. the salers can bring to meeting if needed and they are coming. shameless plug coming...... i have a sale thread! time wise itll last around 2 hours, but there is no need to stay the whole time if your schedule doesnt allow you too.

we will also be raffling off some nice millipora frags!

i plan to bring power heads, pumps, lights, dosing pump, uv light (without bulb) heaters....maybe a few more items... thats is if works allows.....

Well.... im gonna have to miss this month too. My family and I are in florida for vacation and we was coming back in time for me to come straight there but now we are staying another day so im not gonna be able to make it.. We will be discussing pests in the aquarium. A few of us have battled AEFW(acropora eating flat worms) and Red Bugs as well. There are also things like snails and crabs that can eat your corals as well. We will discuss treatment options and what to look for.

And these red milliepora raffle frags have colored up amazingly well!

Thanks for having us. The RBTA is attached to a rock and looks happy. We'll see how he likes the LEDs when they come on. I rearranged my pumps so that I didn't have so much flow in the middle of the tank.
