Hey guys and girls
This is my sps systems that's been up and running for the last year and a half.

Tank Size: 150cmx70cmx60cm peninsula

Sump size: 80cmx60cmx40cm

Lighting: started with maxspect mazara led was ok then made a DIY led unit was an epic fail so switch to 6x80w ATI t5 and never been happier, had more growth in 2 months than the last year.

Calcium, carbonate & magnesium via dosing pump

Protein skimmer: skimz sk201 with with a 5000 pump instead of the 2800

Return pump: waveline dc 6000

The parameters are mostly stable but still adjusting for an explosion of growth after putting the t5s on. Went from dosing only
Small amounts of ca,alk&mag daily to over 50 ml daily.

Fish: regal tang
Orange shoulder tang
Sailfin tang
Lawnmower blenny
Six line wrasse
Coral beautie angel
2 green cromis
Red line cardinal

Very nice, I won't have another sps tank with sand. Just too many issues, pretty soon that bottom will be covered in coralline and you will not even notice. What are your water params?

Great to hear about the T5s. I just made the switch from LEDs. I hope to see a growth explosion as well. Your tank looks great. Let's see more pictures

A little video
Put a 200 micron filter sock in tonight for 10 minutes and seen way to much life moving around to just go and remove it from the tank I strongly feel our reef tanks are lacking to much of this. Just for clarification they look to me like either baby misis or pistol shrimp. There is also some swimming dots that are way to small to tell what they are
