just picked up this piece and wanted to make sure its actually a aussie enchinata since the price was pretty cheap ..what do you guys think...also whats the best palcement the guy at my lfs said low is this true ?

Looks like one. Aussie has a really white base with single branches. I'm planning on getting one soon. How does it react to revive dip? I know ora Hawkins does not like to be dilpped.
 
Thanks guys, i dipped it before i put it in so well see how it reacts but anybody else think its not a a echinata, the mothor colony looked exactly like the picture steezy posted so iam pretty sure it is just checking

Hard to say but from that picture it looks like it could be... My colony has a couple shoots about 1" that look similar.... The actual colony or base if you will looks way different... Is it all brown or just the side you shot a pic of??
 
Yeah guy at my lfs just took the mothor colony and cut my piece right from the top, its not brown its just looks that way in the pic its more white. Iam gonna try to take some more pics tm
 
Looks just like mine, which I'm positive is an Aussie Echinata. I'd say you got the real deal! Don't let a low price convince you otherwise.
