I know elegance corals used to never live... I heard that aussie elegance corals had a much higher success rate when they first started bringing them in a while back... Is this still the case? Anyone have one? How long have you had it?

I tried three aussie elegances from LA and none of them made it past three months. I won't buy another one.

My buddy has a pink tip the size of a basketball. I'm waiting for him to get out so I can buy it. :)

I have had tons in and never had one died in my tanks yet. I have kept some for 6 months. Try to get one that has not been cut off a bigger chunk or fragged.

The ones from austrailia are real hardey. just mag sure you have good mag. I have had one for a year so far. I heard the others are the easy to kill ones

I've got one that's about 14" when it's fully opened and I've had it for about 6 months... not sure if it's an Aussie though

I have had one for now about 8 months. It was one of my first corals added to my 46 gallon, and has really since day one been my healthiest.
