Where do you guys keep yours? I have a 15 polyp one that is losing color in the shade, every one I asked said keep it shaded. I have and it is losing color still nice and healthy but just not vivid like it was.....I am about to sell it off if I can't find a spot for it and let some else take care of this baby....Let me know what you think.

James

MIne is mid tank right under MH's Color is great.

My reverse prism seems to like indirect light to shaded. The frag I have under an overhang has the best color out of all of them.

I'm in the same boat, I had mine in direct lighting and it lost its color, so I moved it into a shaded area... Well it still hasn't gotten it's color back.

I guess I can move it out into high light for awhile and see......I still might just sell it off as to deal with it.....I will update once I move it..

Here is what it looked like when I got it....

This is what it looks like now....

So higher light will get it back?

Might help. Mine looks the the first picture and it's not shaded. It's about half way down in my tank under 150W MH's. I wish mine was as big as yours though! When I got mine it had 3 mouths. Now, about 8 months later, it has 6 mouths, but still hasn't grown off the frag plug it's on.

be really careful with light with these guys. they can bleach really easy, and they dont really come back from it. I toasted a huge colony, moved it back down, and stayed really light for over a year...never came back to what it once was.

I just moved it back to where it was in the first pic....Just under my Pagoda cup coral....So it is on the bottom of the tank. We shall see....

Mine gets direct MH and T5 (some sunshine) and is about 24 inches deep at the bottom of the tank. Looked great till an acro colony fell on it, and coming back great and colorful again. Don't think they should be in the shade unless they have been overblasted with light.

Cool.....I was really starting to get bummed by it.....Really loved the first pic and to see it now was like not even the smae coral.....
