Does anyone know if the Australian CBB is more hardy than the others? I am willing to pay more if it has a better chance of survival, I just do not to pay more just for a prettier version that is also fragile
The one that starts with an M (meustreli ...or something) is claimed to be hardier. Sorry I can't remember the name. But DD usually has them for like 300 and it looks different than the ccb but does the same job and like I said, hardier.
Chelmon marginalis, is the Australian version that is hardier. They are missing the middle band, but other than that identical. While hardier, it is still more delicate than tangs and angels, so care should be used if it is going into a tank that houses either.
