Australian coral preservation project

Hi all I just heard that Australia is starting a coral preservation project. They will be supplying 800 species of coral to home reef keepers for free. The reef keepers will be the custodians. Sounds exiting!. Probably the most exiting thing for reefers ever. Here is the link

As long as you stay in business I can see them fragging to keep corals growing. Those reefs won’t be their very much longer. Plus I only see this happening with the experienced money tanks. If your a quit the hobby kinda guy sell it off and then get bored and go back in lol this doesn't work. I’m sure they’ll choose wisely.

Not a stupid idea. The Great Barrier Reef has seen some bleaching like nothing else before. They frag you grow, you resupply life goes on.

I had a guy who probably was seventy tell me that global warming is fake...... yes he freaking did. I mean, what the heck do you even say to that? I couldn’t respond to it.

Sad but true. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s getting fixed. I’m 32. I’m not an expert but i have been around the hobby awhile and have David Attenborough on my watch list in 4K. Lol. Ultimately I think we are screwed long term with Reefs. The survivors will be in hobbyists tanks. Going to Mars is exciting. We have like 6 Companies tryin to get us their. Those rockets pollute. Energy efficient cars. Etc. I don’t think you can fix the problem.

Came back November 2017(wish I never left ), then we had the Indonesia ban, that freaked the heck out of me and now we're trying to preserve these . So far so good
