So I have become tired of struggling with this man made rock doing a whole rescale with some Australian rock can not wait to get this in the tank after cycling it what do you all think? I still may be using one pillar that in the tank definitely should help it mature faster. To me the biological diversity this will bring to the over all health of the rsr 200xl is well worth every penny spent

When you say cycle you mean cling the tank without the rock first right? If you put the rock in the tank and then add ammonia, you'll kill off some of the biodiversity due to the toxicity of the ammonia.

I will be placing this rock in a 40 gallon breeder with a tunze power head and a reefbrite strip. I will be doing water changes on the rock tank every other day to avoid ammonia spikes. I will be monitoring it with one of those ammonia sensors. Hopefully that answers your question sir. Definitely taking every effort to avoid the ammonia I don’t want to kill the life off on the rock like you said

Looks like the nice old school rock from days gone by, enjoy!

Great plan. I would leave the light off though.

Well all the rock is here had a issue with ups and of course unique corals took very good care of me can not say enough great things about them. It’s all in the curing tank two more pieces added take a look and tell me what you think. Amazing rock already did two water changes to keep ammonia down
