Auto feeder placement

I'm looking for some ideas for placement of an auto feeder. I have 1/8" screen tops so even the finest pellets make a mess on the screen. I'm also not excited about just dropping the food over the return pump and hoping it doesn't clog or make a mess in my return chamber.
Any other setups out there?

You could use something like this. Either by creating a new opening in the screen top to slide it through (pictured on site) or to direct the pellets to the return pump inlet for use in the sump.

I made an ultra light version of this yesterday and will attach it to my screen top tonight. Thanks for the idea, I've never seen this.

That's a clever idea, routing the feed into the return sump chamber.
